電視台導演洛俊（曾國祥 飾）熱衷於拍攝靈異節目，但是節目收視率太低，麵臨被砍的命運，而他和女友、好哥們歐陽維邦（尹子維 飾）的關係也進入冰河時期。借酒澆愁的洛俊在深夜駕車狂飆，結果在寂靜無人的樹林出了車禍。就在此時，他聽到呼救聲，繼而看到一名孕婦坐在樹旁。他幫助孕婦抱起剛出生不久的嬰兒，接著卻發現孕婦早已被人割斷喉嚨沒了呼吸。報警後逃離現場的洛俊，自此後卻被孕婦女鬼傅穎思（唐寧 飾）跟上。女鬼感謝他的幫助，希望洛俊能夠撫養嗷嗷待哺的孩子，並承諾報答他的恩情。
在此之後，洛俊利用女鬼做出極為逼真的靈異節目“生死一線”，一切都發生了變化……
